Math Sessions
Grid Pool
Let’s play a mathematical game of pool! One rule, the ball can only travel at a 45-degree angle to the sides of the rectangular table. You do get to select the size of the table. Watch the mathematics unfold as the ball bounces.
Parity and Invariants
An invariant is a powerful tool in mathematics and beyond. Parity (i.e., evenness and oddness) is one particular invariant. We will learn a few different ways to use these tools to solve problems.
